Im not a big fan of 'funny' Mythos stuff like Cthulhu for President or those plush Cthulhus. I feel that the Mythos should be treated with a little more dignity. Thus I was not predisposed to Baby's First Mythos when it arrived for review. However on reading I was very impressed by Erica Hendersons artwork, less so by her father, C.J. Henderson's sometimes stretched rhyming couplets. The design and production of the slim booklet is very impressive. Now that I have seen Babys First Mythos, I can say that its worth purchasing for the artwork. I hope to see more of Erica Henderson's spiky pen and ink artwork in other future publications.
